The Ventair extension rod is necessary installing the Skyfan DC ceiling fan on high ceiling, it measures 900mm in length but can be cut to any required size by an electrician. For ceilings over 3 metres high, it is recommended to purchase an extension rod, which will lower the fan to the desired height to maintain the fan's effectiveness.
