This Hunter Pacific extension rod is the perfect accessory for high ceilings and is suitable for The Big fan. It replaces the included rod and features a 910mm length that can be easily cut by an electrician to the desired length.

This Hunter Pacific The Big Fan extension rod comes included with an easy, plug in, wiring loom. The extension rod comes in a white or black finish and replaces the included downrod giving you a longer drop for high ceiling areas and fitting in seamlessly with the design of the fan. This extension rod features a 910mm length that can easily be cut, by an electrician, to any size you require.
It is strongly recommended that an extension rod be purchased if the ceiling is over 3 metres high, with the 1800mm length required for ceilings over 3.7 metres high. Ceiling fans will lose effectiveness if they are installed too high away from the floor meaning the lower the fan is installed the more effective the air circulation will be.
