The Eglo extension rod is an ideal solution for installing either the Bondi or Waikiki ceiling fan on a high surface. It replaces the included rod and features a 900mm length that can be easily cut by an electrician to the desired length.

This Eglo extension rod replaces the included downrod to give you a longer drop for high ceiling areas. It suits the Bondi and Waikiki ceiling fans and it features a 900mm length that an electrician can easily cut to any size required.
It is recommended that an extension rod be purchased if the ceiling is over 3 metres high. Ceiling fans will lose effectiveness if they are installed too far away from the floor meaning the lower the fan is installed the more airflow will be felt.
