The Eglo extension rod is an ideal solution for installing either the Bondi or Waikiki ceiling fan on a high surface. It replaces the included rod and features a 1800mm length that can be easily cut by an electrician to the desired length.

This Eglo extension rod replaces the included downrod to give you a longer drop for high ceiling areas. It suits the Bondi and Waikiki ceiling fans and it features a 1800mm length that an electrician can easily cut to any size required.

It is recommended that an extension rod be purchased if the ceiling is over 3 metres high,with an 1800mm rod recommended for ceilings over 3.7 metres. Ceiling fans will lose effectiveness if they are installed too far away from the floor meaning the lower the fan is installed the more airflow will be felt.
