The Airborne extension rod is a necessity for installing the Storm or Enviro DC ceiling fan on a high surface. This rod replaces the included rod and measures 900mm that can be easily cut by an electrician to the desired length.

The ceiling fan 900mm extension rod has been specifically designed to be used with the Airborne Storm and Enviro ceiling fans. It extends the drop of the ceiling fan, allowing you to have exceptional air circulation in indoor or outdoor spaces with higher ceilings.
Installing this extension rod is simple for a licensed electrician as the extension just replaces the rod supplied with the fan. It is strongly recommended that a 900mm extension rod be purchased if the ceiling fan is being installed on a surface over 3 metres high. Most homes will not need the full 900mm rod, so it can be easily cut by the electrician to any size required.
